Trip to Kuala Selangor

Bits of friends, photography, travel...   /

On the 6th June 2009, we departed at 2 heading to Kuala Selangor after eating at Chili Pan Mee, Uptown. The usual photography gang, kokwai, the organiser for the trip.. he did a lot of research, like Where to eat? What to do? What’s the main attraction of this small little town? Timetable and arranging the accommodation. Give an applause to kokwai!!!! so.. next trip when?

we have got lost finding the fisherman village, but end up.. we went to Bukit Malawati, which i’d been here before with my family when i was… 20? *cough*

The Chu Chu Train

A round trip for RM2 by this chu chu train up to the hill.

The Lazy Cat

The cat found its comfy place for an afternoon nap.

The White Lighthouse

The Trees

a leafless tree.

The Monkeys

My impression towards monkeys are bad. Not saying cheeheng and brian, they are my good buddies. The monkeys here consider friendly compare to Bali’s, you can buy long beans to feed them, they will love to stick with you.
Warning!!! Please don’t stay under the trees (their territory).

The Fisherman’s Village

Andrew and cheeheng posing.

吉祥如意 i’m sure this will bring lucks to the fishermen.

*shine shine*

Nice pose, Behn!

The prawn crackers are having a sunbathing before it packs or deep fried.

A shot while andrew was focusing on my bloody red toes.

Time for dinner?

Heading to have our dinner…

The yellow blinds restaurant opposite the River View Seafood Restaurant which we had our dinner there.

After dinner, we went to Fireflies Park at Kuala Selangor, the ticket is rm12 per person, which i think the price is more than expected, and the experience was lower than expectation. It’s so commercialize and we had been waited for 2 hours+ just for the boat ride. The one i went when i was young was different from this, which using sampan and the small boat can only accommodate 3-6 people, got a nearer touch, and the boat driver plucked the leaf for us to get a closer look of the firefly. This one is a bigger boat that can accommodate 12 of us, no more plucking leaves, or else they will fine you for rm500, and no photography too.

Another Fisherman’s Village
On the 7th we went to another fisherman’s village at kuala selangor after the paddy field visit at sekinchan.

Sitting at a side while waiting for others.

Found a pair of converse below my seat.

Yan posed for andrew. hehe…

Sweaty cheeheng.
