My *bling bling* nails

Bits of beauty, shopping...   /   » 4 Comments

I bought a new nail polish again~
Found a very nice bling bling nail polish from Etude House, at 1 Utama, New Wing. The nail color call “Dear Darling Nails (#16 Spangle Silver)” for rm11.90. It has small and medium shinny bits when applying on the nails. That’s exactly what i’m looking for!

How to apply the *bling bling* nails in 15 minutes?
1. Clean up your nails
2. Apply a base coat or you think your nails are yellowish, you can try apply a thin layer of Nude or Champagne color on your nails, so it will looks more natural and healthy. I’ve just got another new one from Loreal Warehouse Sales yesterday, Maybelline, Salon Secret (#21 Champagne) for rm5 only. It looks perfectly natural(see the photo above which i applied). *So, actually i’ve got 2 new nail polish in total :p
3. Apply the shinny Dear Darling Nails polish on the tips of your nails.
4. Apply few layers if you want to have a very shimmering ,shinny and super *bling* nails.

These simple steps will make your nails look fabulous in 15 minutes, and it just looks like you went for a nail salon.
Now you can go party anytime with your *bling bling* nails.

Trip to Sekinchan

Bits of friends, photography, travel...   /   » 5 Comments

on the 7th, we woke up at 5+am, reached the nearest paddy field for sunrise, but it seems like raining soon. Until around 6.30am, it still all covered with clouds. So, we went for breakfast at wet market. After the food, we got back to the paddy fields, hope to get some nice shots.

Trip to Kuala Selangor

Bits of friends, photography, travel...   /   » 4 Comments

On the 6th June 2009, we departed at 2 heading to Kuala Selangor after eating at Chili Pan Mee, Uptown. The usual photography gang, kokwai, the organiser for the trip.. he did a lot of research, like Where to eat? What to do? What’s the main attraction of this small little town? Timetable and arranging the accommodation. Give an applause to kokwai!!!! so.. next trip when?

we have got lost finding the fisherman village, but end up.. we went to Bukit Malawati, which i’d been here before with my family when i was… 20? *cough*

The Chu Chu Train

A round trip for RM2 by this chu chu train up to the hill.

The Lazy Cat

The cat found its comfy place for an afternoon nap.

The White Lighthouse

The Trees

a leafless tree.

The Monkeys

My impression towards monkeys are bad. Not saying cheeheng and brian, they are my good buddies. The monkeys here consider friendly compare to Bali’s, you can buy long beans to feed them, they will love to stick with you.
Warning!!! Please don’t stay under the trees (their territory).

The Fisherman’s Village

Andrew and cheeheng posing.

吉祥如意 i’m sure this will bring lucks to the fishermen.

*shine shine*

Nice pose, Behn!

The prawn crackers are having a sunbathing before it packs or deep fried.

A shot while andrew was focusing on my bloody red toes.

Time for dinner?

Heading to have our dinner…

The yellow blinds restaurant opposite the River View Seafood Restaurant which we had our dinner there.

After dinner, we went to Fireflies Park at Kuala Selangor, the ticket is rm12 per person, which i think the price is more than expected, and the experience was lower than expectation. It’s so commercialize and we had been waited for 2 hours+ just for the boat ride. The one i went when i was young was different from this, which using sampan and the small boat can only accommodate 3-6 people, got a nearer touch, and the boat driver plucked the leaf for us to get a closer look of the firefly. This one is a bigger boat that can accommodate 12 of us, no more plucking leaves, or else they will fine you for rm500, and no photography too.

Another Fisherman’s Village
On the 7th we went to another fisherman’s village at kuala selangor after the paddy field visit at sekinchan.

Sitting at a side while waiting for others.

Found a pair of converse below my seat.

Yan posed for andrew. hehe…

Sweaty cheeheng.

Benchin’s bag and umbrella in a set. cool~

Joanna & 王若琳

Bits of song...   /   » 8 Comments

地点: 1 Utama, Center park avenue
时间: 5 June 2009, 8.30pm

cycling at taman pertanian

Bits of friends, outing...   /   » 3 Comments

what: cycling
when:  24 may 2009, 9am
where: taman pertanian shah alam
who: cliff’s gang(cliff, fidella, zeejay…..), and us (yenc, cheeheng, shyng, jaemy, eunice, chokyan and i)
entrance fee: rm3 per pax
bicycle rental fee: around rm6-8  for 3 hours (depends on what bicycle you rent)

Before the heavy work out, we went for breakfast at Jin Xuan Hong Kong Dim Sum Restaurant early morning at 8am.

The second time of cycling at taman pertanian since last year august.
this time, lucky me.. no more “goreng kereta” (炒车), no more injuries. hehe *lucky day*

15 of us, as usual the big group will be separated to smaller groups, cliff’s gang photography all the way, but they cycle damn fast, which we can’t really catch up with them.. and we took the slower pace(another route) compared to the first time, the “extremed*” pace…
*extremed = went up the hill down and up and down again… “exhausted”!

We passed by paddy field which is not so happening. *perhaps sekinchan’s one… will be…. awaiting~
follow the route, we reached the animal park, there is a rabbit farm… erm.. left back a few poor rabbits. at the other side there are porcupines, further, a group of kancils..mostly injured, poor them.

Here we reached the lake, saw the beautiful sun reflection. Perfectly fit 7 of us, with jaemy shooting us catching the sun with his compact. *love it*
Further down, we reached mushroom garden, mostly poisoned! *haha* the color all faded and kinda dirty.
There is a tower near the lake, a lot of nice scenes from there, a secret garden, which far from the us, yenc’s favourite huge trees, which she wanna climb up those trees, and claim herself “猪娜上树”.

We got a lot of nice shots from cheeheng, visit his blog here.

my legs were sore and tired after the ride and we got crystal char siew & hakka mee after the ride, yay~ yummy~ the whole work out gone, fats & calories rebuild again~ sigh~

Compare to last year, i think there are more healthier people, coz we almost can’t get our bike around 9am, all occupied by others, and the leftover bikes condition are not really good, new bikes being booked by others, we didn’t know we can book in advance. Maybe we should try cycle at putrajaya one day.
